wehey my first journal :D

Hello everyone,
first I'ed like to say thank's for all the favouring and watching :) The feedback I got here has really given me a boost to work harder on my scetches.

I have now at last finished my A-levels, but because I'm an incredibly geeky person, I'm already missing my art lessons and so have decided to start my very own proper art project over the summer.
Btw, This is a joint idea by my best friend ninons ( [link] ) and me, just incase the stuff interests you and you'ed like to see something similar..

A big part of this project is going to be studies from life,.. so i'm afraid it might get a little boring in parts, but I promise the end result will be full of fantasy again!! :)

i m doing a BA in animation at the moment. so sadly can t really use any of these drawing in my course : / how about you?

animation im sinne von cartoon, oder was muss ich mir als laie darunter vorstellen?
ich studiere industrial design in magdeburg. und ich lebe nicht in new york :) schön wär's. aber danke für dein kompliment.
im studium kann ich mit meinen persönlichen künstlerischen vorlieben leider auch nichts anfangen, aber für mich ist es wahrscheinlich gut, gezwungen zu werden, mal was anderes zu machen.

jap film animation mit zeichnen und so hehe industrial design, ist das der design von stuehlen und so? :) hmm ja ich habe dieses jahr auch nur wenig zeit fuer persoenliche kuenstlerische vorlieben : /

ja, so in der richtung. möbel, autos, elektrogeräte, kaffeekannen... kommt halt auf die uni/fh an, wo der fokus liegt. bei uns sind es glaub ich eher elektrogeräte/interaction design..
deins muss ja ein spannendes studium sei, oder? klingt erst mal ziemlich cool..

na, da ist doch die laterne, die sich so runterbeugt. (das "streetlight" in "dorothy in wonderland")
ich hab auch eine krumme laterne, aber die wird eher so ge-"warped" von so einer art raum-zeit-verkrümmungs-dings. [link]
da hatte ich mal so eine phase, wo ich total fasziniert war von der vorstellung, dass sich diese alten straßenlaternen verbiegen und zusammenstauchen.

arzähl mal, was man da so für einen unterricht hat bei animation! wo studiert man das?
